April 2003

Omni Accounts exhibited at the Sunday Times National Small Business Week- London event at Earls Court from the 28 - 30 April 2003. This was an opportunity for small and medium size business owners to see the unique Omni accounting software and visit us at Stand G31, where Andy Kudla - MD and Gary Todd - Sales and Marketing Manager showed how to become "Switched On" to Omni Accounts


October 2002

Omni exhibited at the Business Startup show at the Excel Exhibition halls at Docklands from the 19th - 20th October. The show organisers, Prysm Events were expecting about 13,000 visitors, the final count being 14,940. The show was a great success for Omni. The stand was inundated with enquiries from potential start up businesses as well as general enquiries from accountants and financial advisers. We had close on 2000 people visiting our stand, and a considerable number of Omni CD's were sold at the show, many others indicated that they would download the FREE entry level Omni Essential.

Omni launches in Namibia
Omni officially launched in Namibia on 8th & 9th of October. The highly successful launch was co-ordinated by John Kirton of Pinnacle Micro Namibia. "As usual we were inundated with queries during and immediately after the Road Show, followed by back to back demonstrations and consultations the following day," said Andy Kudla. "Several value added resellers have already registered with us, coupled with a sharp increase in traffic from Namibia on our web site. All in all a very encouraging start".


September 2002

A partnership agreement was concluded with MicroWarehouse from 1 September 2002. Omni Essential will feature in the Technomatic catalogue over the next 12 months. 'The SME market of 250,000 businesses that Technomatic serves, fits perfectly with Omni Accounts target market,'says Gary Todd, national sales and marketing manager, Omni Accounts Ltd.'MicroWarehouse is also a global leader in the provision of computer solutions,'he adds. James Baker - software merchandising manager for Microwarehouse says: "We want to help our clients choose the best products for their business.So Omni Accounts will be a valuable addition to our software selection."

Omni accounts launched with their selling of their Essential software within the bi-monthly Technomatic catalogue for a period of one year from 1September.This catalogue is part of the MicroWarehouse Group,the global leader in the provision of computer solutions.Over two million customers worldwide rely upon Micro Warehouse to fulfil their business' computer networking, hardware and software needs, confident in their quality, responsiveness and dedication to service.

Omni Accounts named "Best of what's new" at Cape Computer Faire"
The Computer Faire Cape 2002 held in Cape Town, South Africa between 18 - 21 September, was an opportunity for Omni Accounts to exhibit its unique accounting software solution to leading business people including accountants and resellers.

Besides obtaining excellent exposure and receiving very high-levels of interest from those people visiting their stand at this event, Omni Accounts was also awarded the prestigious title of "Best of What's New" it its category.

"The 'Best of What's New' is set to become an institution at the Computer Faire," said Aldean Prior, General Manager ICT of Reed Exhibitions SA. "An independent panel of judges - the majority of whom are IT journalists - evaluate entries and determine, based on predetermined criteria, which should be included in the 'Best of What's New' display. The objective of this is to enable visitors to quickly and easily identify those products and services that meet the judging criteria."

BT OPENWORLD - Omni has a tenancy ad running with BT Openworld on their business home page at http://www.btopenworld.co.uk/business and has enjoyed fundamental success in providing existing business users the opportunity to link to the Omni website and receive the Omni Essential product via a Free Download link or order their Omni product and additional features online.

Omni officially launches in South Africa on 22 July.

The search for an accounting software package that goes against the grain of conventional products by being financially viable and completely flexible to the user's requirements is now over for South Africans.

The solution, Omni Accounts, was launched to the SA market on 22 July 2002 and, says Andy Kudla, MD of Omni Accounts, "we are already experiencing a very warm welcome by industry, especially from the reseller market and the small to medium sized businesses and growing companies due to its unique ability to pick and mix features."

The Pinnacle Group, SA's second largest IT reseller, moved quickly to secure a distribution partnership agreement with Omni Accounts. "Our core business remains the supply of information technology products and services to a wide spectrum of retail, wholesale and corporate consumers. So when we were presented with an opportunity to distribute an accounting product that is set to revolutionise the accounting software market, it made perfect sense to secure a deal," said Lesley Smyth, Pinnacle Brand Manager - Software.

The fact that the software was developed locally in SA and is supported by a dedicated team of highly-trained technical staff only a telephone call or email away is another bonus that Kudla believes will ensure that his product grows exponentially in the local market. "Most of our support staff were in fact involved with the development of the product, so are knowledgeable on all aspects of the product," said Kudla.
